Our wiqConsumer team

In Australia and New Zealand, our team operates within the Woolworths ecosystem and is known as wiqConsumer. The name wiq fosters collaboration within Woolworths, unlocking better ways of working with the Woolworths Commercial team. The wiqConsumer team uses their expertise alongside our products Q.Checkout and Q.Scan to facilitate the direct monetisation of retailer data with suppliers, helping drive better decision making for FMCG companies across ANZ. As Commercial Director, you will be entrusted with the strategic leadership of a dynamic group of professionals. Your primary focus will be fostering strong client relationships, generating value through innovative solutions, and consistently achieving commercial objectives. This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate the ever-evolving FMCG landscape with creativity and precision.
Leveraging your keen commercial instincts to not only meet but exceed our financial and strategic targets, you will be at the wheel of strategy and performance optimisation. You will ignite collaboration within our broader team, fostering a culture that thrives on innovation and creativity. Together, you'll anticipate needs and construct robust, scalable solutions that benefit not just individuals and organisations, but society at large.

 

How will you make an impact? 

  • Client partnerships: Build and develop enduring relationships with key FMCG brands, drawing on your deep understanding of their world to act as a credible, trusted partner who delivers real commercial value

  • Commercial growth: Drive the commercial performance of your portfolio, identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow existing accounts and win new business

  • Strategic planning: Develop and execute client strategies that align with Quantium's vision for the Consumer practice, bringing sharp FMCG market knowledge and a forward-looking commercial perspective

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts and product specialists to translate client needs into relevant, high-impact solutions

  • Market intelligence: Stay at the forefront of FMCG trends, shopper behaviour and competitor movements, translating insights into differentiated strategies that keep clients ahead of the curve

 

The superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • FMCG expertise: 10+ years' experience with deep FMCG industry knowledge, preferably in data analytics environment.

  • Commercial acumen: Experience running a business unit/owning a P&L with proven track record achieving seven-figure revenue targets.

  • Leadership excellence: Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide teams; 2+ years at senior level.

  • Relationship builder: Demonstrable experience identifying, targeting and winning new work and managing deep relationships.

  • Problem solver: Sharp problem-solving skills partnering with stakeholders to solve complex commercial problems using data-driven approaches.

  • Strategic thinker: Proven track record managing large and complex engagements with multiple streams.
