As a Senior Analyst in our Product Analytics team, you'll be an experienced technical contributor taking on increased responsibility in designing and delivering sophisticated analytics solutions. Working within cross-functional teams, you'll apply advanced data science techniques and collaborate with engineers, product specialists, and analysts across our global teams.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Design and build sophisticated analytics solutions with growing independence, supporting Analytics Leads with solution architecture and technical decision-making
  • Develop analytics approaches that can be scaled and reused across different business contexts
  • Create detailed specifications for analytics work that engineering teams can implement
  • Take responsibility for significant components of analytics solutions including models, algorithms, and optimisation approaches
  • Work with complex datasets using cloud platforms and modern data engineering tools
  • Apply advanced data science methods with attention to quality and scalability
  • Use AI tools effectively to enhance analytical workflows and support team productivity
  • Support product roadmap delivery and ongoing operational requirements
  • Contribute to technical discussions about approach, effort estimates, and timelines

The Superpowers You'll Be Bringing To The Team

Technical depth: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with solid cloud platform experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and a good grasp of data science methods — from experimental design and feature engineering through to model development and machine learning.

Problem-solving: You approach complex analytical challenges methodically, working both independently and collaboratively to find scalable, high-quality solutions.

Communication: You communicate clearly across diverse, globally distributed teams, and enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting the capability development of those around you.

Required Experience And Capabilities

  • Degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, or a related quantitative field — or equivalent demonstrated analytical capability
  • 4–7 years of experience in data science, analytics, or similar technical roles, ready for increased responsibility
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience handling complex data challenges
  • Good experience with a major cloud platform — Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure — and cloud-based data processing
  • Solid understanding of data science methods including experimental design, feature engineering, and model development
  • Growing expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modelling, and their practical application
  • Familiarity with software engineering practices including version control, testing, and documentation
  • Strong problem-solving approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Good communication skills for working with diverse teams across different time zones
  • Interest in supporting team members and willingness to take on coordination and leadership responsibilities

Desirable

  • Experience with generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) or enthusiasm for learning
  • Retail analytics background including consumer behaviour, promotional analysis, or transaction data
