The Opportunity

As a General Manager at Lighthouse Service Partners, you'll take full P&L ownership of a business under our portfolio of companies. This isn't a caretaker role — it's a build role. You'll drive growth, shape culture, and get hands-on with every part of the business, backed by a fast-moving parent company and a proven playbook. No trades background required. We're looking for sharp, driven operators who want to learn fast and grow into something bigger — including future organic growth initiatives and M&A opportunities.

To set you up for success, incoming GMs go through LEAP — our Lighthouse Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program. LEAP is a structured pathway that gets you close to the business before you're running it solo: real site visits, a proven scorecard framework, and hands-on exposure to what it actually takes to operate a trades business — so you step into P&L ownership prepared, not thrown in the deep end.

 

What You'll Do

• Own the P&L — drive gross profit and EBITDA growth, and own reporting to senior leadership
• Build and lead high-performing teams, and develop the next generation of managers
• Drive operational excellence across systems, processes, and people
• Get close to the customer and relentlessly improve their experience
• Set strategy, move fast, and make data-informed calls

 

What You Bring

• A track record of driving impact and beating targets — SMB general management or senior leadership experience a plus
• Strong FP&A chops: budgeting, financial management, P&L ownership
• High EQ, sharp people instincts, and a genuine interest in developing others
• A resourceful, scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset
• A degree (MBA or equivalent a bonus, not a requirement)
• Respect for the trades — or the hunger to earn it fast
