Lighthouse Service Partners is a people-first trades company on a mission to partner with and grow home service businesses across plumbing, air con, electrical, and related trades all over Australia.

 

The Opportunity

You'll step in alongside an established, successful entrepreneur — the Managing Director who built this business from the ground up — and become their true leadership partner. Together you'll own every part of the business, split responsibilities based on your strengths, and drive it to its next level. It's a rare chance to learn hands-on from someone who's already done it, while building your own track record as an operator.

 

What You'll Do

• Partner directly with the Managing Director as a seamless leadership team, dividing responsibilities to match your respective strengths
• Own the P&L — drive gross profit and EBITDA growth, and own reporting to senior leadership
• Build and lead high-performing teams, and develop the next generation of managers
• Drive operational excellence across systems, processes, and people
• Get close to the customer and relentlessly improve their experience
• Set strategy, move fast, and make data-informed calls
• Collaborate across Lighthouse's product, finance, and integration teams

 

What You Bring

• A track record of driving impact and beating targets — SMB general management or senior leadership experience a plus
• Strong background in budgeting, financial management, P&L ownership (desirable not essential)
• High EQ, sharp people instincts, and a genuine interest in developing others
• A resourceful, scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset
• A degree (MBA or equivalent a bonus, not a requirement)
