Marketing Manager

Central Coast, NSW

The Opportunity:

Janus Electric is revolutionising heavy transport by converting diesel trucks to electric and building a national swappable battery network. We are scaling fast, including into the United States, and need a skilled, hands-on Marketing Manager to build and run the brand and content engine behind our growth.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own Janus's marketing end to end: the brand story, content and creative, social media across global and regional channels, and the company website and CRM. You will build a consistent brand and content engine that supports the sales pipeline and drives the company's growth.

What You Will Do:

Content & Creative

  • Own the Janus brand story and create the content and creative assets that tell it from web copy, collateral, decks, case studies, video and imagery.
  • Produce content for the sales team that supports the pipeline and shortens the sales cycle.
  • Keep brand, voice and messaging consistent across every channel and market.

Social Media

  • Own and run all social media, globally and regionally, with one consistent voice.
  • Plan, create and schedule the content calendar; publish, monitor and engage.
  • Track reach, engagement and lead generation, and report on what is working.

Website

  • Manage and upgrade the existing company website and the CRM platform.
  • Make content and page updates, improve the site over time, and keep it current, accurate and on-brand.
  • Manage any external developers or agencies engaged for larger website builds.

General

  • Support the go-to-market for global expansions with market-appropriate content and campaigns.
  • Work closely with sales and commercial to align marketing with the revenue plan.
  • Manage the marketing budget and any external suppliers, and ensure work is delivered on time and on brand.

What You Bring:

  • Strong writer and storyteller, able to turn technical product into clear, compelling content.
  • Hands-on across content, social and web.
  • Comfortable managing and upgrading a website (CMS, content, basic technical changes); able to brief and manage developers for larger work.
  • Confident with social platforms, scheduling tools and analytics.
  • Design-literate: can create or art-direct clean, on-brand assets.
  • Organised and self-directed; can own the function end to end with limited supervision.
  • Degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in a marketing role spanning content, social and web.
  • Demonstrated experience running social media across multiple markets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and upgrading a website (CMS such as WordPress, Webflow or similar) and CRM platforms.
  • Experience in a scaling business, and in a technical, industrial or automotive sector, an advantage.
  • Proficiency with design and content tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and marketing analytics.

How to Apply:
