Senior HR Business Partner
Position Description
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full‑time
Reports to: Chief People & Culture Officer
Level: Senior Individual Contributor
Scope: US + Canada plus global workforce support
Role Purpose
The Senior HR Business Partner is a trusted advisor to leaders across Future Secure AI, providing senior‑level people partnership in a fast‑scaling, global AI organisation.
This role requires strong judgement, autonomy and credibility, with accountability for managing complex employee relations matters, supporting senior leaders, and enabling the organisation to scale responsibly in the US and globally.
Key Accountabilities
Business & Leader Partnership
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic and practical HR advice
- Coach leaders through performance, conduct, development and retention decisions
- Support leaders managing remote and globally distributed teams
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead employee relations matters end‑to‑end, including investigations, grievances and separations
- Partner with legal counsel on complex or high‑risk matters in liaison with the Senior P&C leads.
- Apply strong knowledge of US and Canadian employment law, ideally multi‑state
Growth & Global Operations
- Support compensation discussions, role design and workforce planning
- Support global mobility and cross‑border employment scenarios
- Contribute to scalable people practices suited to a high‑growth AI business
Experience & Capability
- 7–10+ years’ HR experience, including senior HRBP or generalist roles
- Experience in technology, AI, scale‑up or professional services
- Strong US employment law knowledge (multi‑state preferred)
- Confident operating autonomously with senior leaders
