About the Team & the Opportunity

Global Markets at Edelweiss manages proprietary capital across multiple asset classes and geographies. The Capital Management team sits at the nerve center - owning capital strategy and planning, entity‑level allocation, live margin monitoring, settlement funding, and optimization of capital deployment across desks.

As VP, you will shape capital allocation frameworks, automate decisioning and reporting, and partner with trading, resources, clearing members, and technology to maximize risk‑adjusted returns. This is a high‑autonomy, high‑impact role with visibility to senior leadership.

What You Will Do

• Lead capital strategy and planning across entities; execute strategic projects with Corporate Office.

• Ensure entity compliance and embed robust SOPs for consistency and operational excellence.

• Engage with trading desks to size near‑, mid‑, and long‑term capital needs; design fund‑availability roadmaps with Resources and Clearing Members.

• Build monthly/quarterly deployment plans; track versus actuals, run variance analysis, and surface insights to optimize utilization.

• Drive capital optimization across clients, asset classes, and segments; act as primary point for stakeholder queries.

• Transform the function with a tech‑first, automated approach to real‑time margin monitoring, reporting, and decision support; partner with Technology to implement systems.

• Lead the team day‑to‑day (BAU), present performance updates to leadership, and build annual development plans for direct reports.
