ABOUT THIS POST

Not every role at Chaos1 starts as a job ad. We are growing quickly, and some of our best people joined before we knew we needed them. If you can't see a role that fits your experience but know you could help us get capability into the hands of the warfighter faster, this is your way in.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

We are interested in people who want to solve hard problems. That includes, but is not limited to:

• Engineers across systems, hardware, software, autonomy, networks and datalinks
• Operators with uncrewed systems experience across air, land and maritime domains
• Test and evaluation, assessment, experimentation and red team specialists
• Manufacturing, assembly, logistics and facilities professionals
• Business, commercial, governance, security and corporate services professionals
• Veterans moving into industry who want to stay close to the mission

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

We review expressions of interest every month. If your background matches a current or upcoming need, a member of our team will contact you. We can't reply to every submission individually, and submitting here does not mean a role is open now. If a matching role is advertised later, we may invite you to apply for it formally.

• Mobilised from the start. Your equipment, access and role brief are ready before you arrive, and you'll be part of live work within your first fortnight.

PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM RECRUITMENT SCAMS

• Chaos1 never asks candidates for money, bank details or identity documents before an offer, and never asks you to buy equipment or pay for training
• We contact candidates only from @chaos1.au addresses and through our applicant tracking system; check anything else with careers@chaos1.au before you act on it
• Report an approach made fraudulently in Chaos1's name to careers@chaos1.au and to Scamwatch at scamwatch.gov.au

DATA PRIVACY

Chaos1 handles your application under Australian privacy law and our applicant privacy notice. Because this is a general expression of interest rather than an application for a specific role, we will keep your details for 12 months so we can contact you about future opportunities. After that we securely delete them unless you have applied for a specific role. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing careers@chaos1.au.
